The children are treated as individuals and taught to their ability.
Because of the care regularly demonstrated for the wellbeing of all. The family atmosphere and cross stage interaction.
Gillamoor CE School really is very special, it’s a cliche but I really think the school is like one big family whilst treating each pupil as an individual.
The level of individual care shown to children, the welcoming staff, fantastic headteacher.
Peaceful setting and community feel.
It provides them (children) with a safe and nurturing place for learning.
I think you have a skill for making each pupil feel cared for, supported and safe. Whilst also being able to celebrate their own personal skill set and encourage them in their own individual targets.
As parents we value both inclusion and feedback from school. We very much enjoyed weekly assembly’s as it meant we could see the topics each class had covered throughout the week – this would be something that we hope could return in the future (when safe to do so). [N.B. We have now returned to this]
Our children are happy at Gillamoor school. as a school you teach a wide variety of lessons. the children are happy when they come home and really enjoy stopping for after school activities which are also varied. A super school!!
