Our rural and community focused school aims to enable everyone in our community to flourish through a focus on nurturing first the blade, then the ear, then the full grain (Mark 4:28); from the youngest child to the oldest member of the village. Inspirational learning through curiosity and commitment will encourage aspiration and the desire to be the best they can, in their work and through the respect, care and love they have for each other. Many Hands Make Light Work’

Welcome to the Friends of Gillamoor School page. The Friends of Gillamoor School aims to contribute wherever possible to events and activities of all kinds that complement the school and make opportunities available to all the children which would otherwise not be possible things like:

  • the swimming transport costs
  • School trips
  • Equipment
  • Access to online learning

We are always trying to encourage new parents to join us. You can be involved as much or as little as you like. We hold meetings regularly through the year. We work hard to the achieve the best result but like to make it fun & have a laugh along the way.

The number one reason to join the Friends of Gillamoor School is to benefit your child. In doing so, you also help your school. But there are many more Friends of Gillamoor School advantages:
